The customer, a prestigious interior design firm, needed a distribution partner to create and successfully execute a logistics plan. The plan would efficiently meet all their project milestones to remodel or set up model rooms at locations across the country, including apartments, sorority houses, retirement homes and hotel lobbies. The customer needed a partner to manage the entire process while meeting their required schedule.
In addition, the customer required support to receive and consolidate products from various vendors at a local staging warehouse. The team needed to organize, kit and distribute specific packaging for each job, including pictures, couches, beds, dressers, lamps, dining room and kitchen items. In addition, each delivery mandated:
